What does high ESR mean?
- +Chronic inflammation, infection, autoimmune disease, anemia.
What does low ESR mean?
- +Polycythemia (TRT can artifactually lower ESR).
/ON_TRT
High hematocrit on TRT artifactually lowers ESR. Use CRP for inflammation monitoring instead.
